How exactly does child swap at disney world work?

Myself, my boyfriend, his four children (ages 11,9,6,4) and our one year old baby will be going to disney world next year. I want to know how child swap works. Obviously the baby will not be able to get on any rides that have a height restriction. Can anyone explain it to me? I guess the part i am confused about is if my boyfriend rides the ride with the kids and I wait with baby, do I get to ride the ride with the kids right after? you can walk up to the cast member standing in front of the ride and inquire about it. they will explain exactly what you do.

basically this is what happens:

so you have 7 in your party so your BF and 2 of his kids would wait in line while you and the other 2 kids along with the baby waits at the end of the ride and then when they get off the ride they wait with the baby and you and the other 2 kids get on the ride in their place.

I have seen them allow the entire party to ride again many times - meaning your boyfriend and the 4 kids ride, then you and the 4 kids ride. But they may make you split your party into two groups. Either way, just ask the cast member at the entrance of the ride, because each ride is a little different.

i think everyone answered this ? for you, but i have 1 suggestion since you are traveling with so many children(trust i know i have 3) 2 under 2 . and a 5 yr old.

you may need another adult. maybe 2 more.

this definitely helps with getting on the rides and if 1 of the babies are sleeping or whiny.
