What are the best parks to go to/best value in Walt Disney World resort?

We are going to Orlando for a tournament and want to visit Disney.

What are the best parks (if we only go to one), or best value (park hopper?). We would only have at maximum 2-3 days to dedicate to Disney, and a budget, too ! Any thoughts or recommendations for our trip? What are the best parks to go to/best value in Walt Disney World resort?
I think you can do all 4 parks in 2 or 3 days. My family did disney in 3 and we loved it. I suggest you get hopper passes, its so worth it.

Magic Kingdom-Do the 3 mountains,Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Laugh Floor,Its the small world, Buzz Lightyear.

at 3 is a Parade,So get a spot at least 30 mins before it starts. Go to Mickey's Toontown Fair Tent to get pictures.

Wishes is the fireworks,it the best I have ever seen.

Epcot- Sornin, The seas with nemo and friends,Mission Space,Test Track,The countries, and Spaceship Earth.

illuminationsns is the fireworks

Disney's Hollywood Studios-Tower of Terror,Rock and rollercoster, the great movie ride,Toy Story Mania is a must,Beauty and the beast show.

Animal Kingdom-Its tough to be a bug, the safarif, Expeditiontion Everest,Dinosaurosor,Finding Nemo and Lion King show.

The link below is The dining link so you can see what resturant there is at WDW.
All parks are different in there very own different ways. The two must see parks are EPCOT and The Magic Kingdom. Although, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are extremely fun parks aswell. If you want, Disney also features other places like Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks... plus the World Wide Sports Complex. Disney is huge, you can't do it in 2 days like Universal. I have gone 10 days a year for the past 7 years and I still havn't seen it all! What are the best parks to go to/best value in Walt Disney World resort?
well to be honest it depends on what u want. if you only have a few days i reccomend trying to get to see magic kingdom, hollywood studios and animal kingdom. personally i love them all, epcot is great but slightly different than the other parks. they have world showcase which has different countries of the world with different shops from round the world. it is grest fun.

check out disneyworlds website to show you what rides and shows are in each park so you can choose properly.
Disney has value resorts called the all-star..you can stay at sports or music i think its called and thoes are pretty cheap.. The best thing to do is get a park hopper pass because it gives you more for your money. All the parks are amazing...the must see is the magic kingdom but i couldnt spend a whole day there cause a lot is aimed toward little kids..yet they do have splash mountain and space mountain and thunder mountain railroad but a whole day is a lil much....also i love MGM (hollywood studios) i could stay there all day with the best ride ever--THE ROCKIN ROLLER COASTER! and thats where the famous tower of terror is....a must see is Epcot because of the world showcase and best ride is test track and sorin'...then animal kingdom is okay i mean u can go on a real safari and the new ride everest is good...thats y u need the park hopper because a whole day in any one park is a lil much....but make the most of it because it will be one of your best memories

oh and that book that the person below is talking about is amazing...we have it! i deff reccomend it!What are the best parks to go to/best value in Walt Disney World resort?
I would reccomend buying a 2 day ticket without Park Hopper, b/c honestly if you want to hit all the major attractions you won't have the energy to hop. One day should be spend at Magic Kingdom and the other at Epcot. Both of them have a beautiful display of fireworks.
Since I'm not sure of your age or interests, its difficult to answer your question. Do a little research on your own at allears.net to see what you like the best.

Here's another tip for your trip: Go buy "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2009". This was the best $20 I spent for my family's July 2008 vacation to Disney. The book contains reviews for restaurants, hotels, and attractions on and off Disney property. However, the best part of the book are the touring plans! The plans give you step by step instructions on where to go and when to go in order to avoid the longest lines.

For example: "Soarin" in EPCOT is one of the most popular rides in all of Disney. A 2-hour wait in line is not uncommon to partake in this awesome experience. However, using the touring plan in the book and maximizing Disney's "Fast Pass" system, we were able to ride it twice in a row without waiting in line one time!

By the way, if you don't know what the "Fast Pass" system is, then definitely get the book or ask us that are in the know at yahooanswers. It's fast, easy, and one of the few FREE things in Disney. Yes, it is absolutely FREE!

Go out and buy the book today. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Have fun!
