We are going for Halloween and taking my 2 year old son at the time. Is the park all scary for Halloween?

The park isn't scary at all, it is beautifully decorated in a fall theme.

You should buy tickets to Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party, which is a great expierence. The characters all dressed up in Halloween costumes, and your son can go trick or treating. There is also a special Halloween parade and fireworks show at the Halloween Party. The tickets are a little expensive, but totally worth it. The dates of the 2009 Halloween party are September 4, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29. October 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31. November 1

Here is link for more info about the party:

The Not So Scary Halloween is a lot of fun. There's nothing scary and it's nice because the lines for the rides are basically nonexistent. As far as trick or treating, it's just a few trick or treat stations set up here and there around the park.

There are a few things I would suggest however. First of all, make sure to bring back up clothing. The little ones get tires of wearing their costumes and they can also get cold. Also they turn down the lights in the park. Bring a few glow in the dark necklaces and such to make sure your little person is seen and not run down by a stroller.

Have a good time!
It is so fun! We were there last Halloween. It's not Scary but more festive. Its nice. Make sure you get your tickets for Mickey's not So scary Halloween Party! You can go around Magic Kingdom and Trick or Treat and there is an AWESOME parade!

Most people dress up, we just wore cute Halloween shirts (the adults!) and the Kids wore costumes!

Any tips....YES!

Bring a stroller!

Take time to rest through out the day or you'll be just as crabby as your 2 year old at the end of the day!

Bring a jacket or sweat shirt, it gets cool in the evening!

Pick up park maps and time sheets right when you get there so you can plan your day's for the park hours!

Bring snacks and drinks for the little one in the park, it is very expensive and it just makes it easier to have these things on hand.

I've been going to Disney for the past 17 years! It's a great place to be! Have fun! Take lots of pics!
