Things you will find that you want will be
chapstick
sunscreen
hand sanitizer (because you won't always be able to hit the bathroom before you eat something)
a camera
cell phone
a small wallet ( don't put all of your money in it, I always carry some in my pocket)
space to put sunglasses (because most of the rides will make you remove them)
same goes for a hat if you are wearing one
a couple of bandages for blisters (just because you never know)
if you have room carry a couple of bottles of water and a small snack (granola bars, jerky )
gum or mints
have fun
Let me just tell you this, Anything you bring you will need to carry! I suggest not to overload yourself with a ton of stuff, because truth is that you will be exhausted with a whole backpack full of stuff.
Things to Consider:
-Water
-Pocket Fan
-Food (if you can bring your own, great. Food is expensive at parks)
-Change of clothes (If you are planning to get wet, try to plan water activities to the very end of your disney trip)
-Wallet (Take only exact amount for entree fee and for food. Leave credit cards, passports, and loaded money in the hotel safe at the front desk, not in the hotel room safe)
*Things to remember*
Save room for any gifts you may want to pick up along the way for souveniers.
Parks will have their own maps of the park so you won't have to worry about bringing 10 maps, only to find them at the park. Saves room, hassle, and time.
Enjoy your tripWhat should I carry in my backpack while at Disney World?
you don't need much, make sure to take alot of money! because everything at disney world is over priced. if you don't want to buy water at the park i suggest you take your own bottle. a camera because you'll need something to capture the memories :-) and that's really all you need. i live a couple hours away from disney world and every time i've gone that's really been the only thing i need there. you don't want to take too much because then your going to have to worry about your things whenever you get on and off a ride.
hope you have fun on the happiest place on earth! :-)
My thoughts exactly, Carkid! Do this instead: Take a fanny pack for your wallet, snacks, camera, and any other small stuff you think you may need. Use a clip on water bottle and attach it to your belt. Buy a cheap poncho at walmart that can be rolled up and also attach to your belt. Put the sunglasses on your face, the hat on your head, lotion up before you leave your car or hotel. Bottom line is at the end of the day, you are not going to want to lug around a heavy back pack! What should I carry in my backpack while at Disney World?
I worked at WDW for 4 months and hit the parks daily. I'd recommend carrying:
-Sunscreen
-Sunglasses
-Sun visor or hat
-Rain poncho
-ID (driver's license/passport/etc)
-Credit card
-Cash
-Water bottle
-Camera
-Cell phone
water if you want, map, maybe a bit of food, rain poncho in case it rains or want to go on a water ride and o not get wet, thats what I always brought
