How do you become a singer for disney channel?

Hi. I am 11 years old, almost 12. I have wanted to be a singer since I was 7. Do you know how I can get an audition or something for disney channel? Also, I need to know when and where. (It needs to be near NJ)

First of all, You need to tell your parents about your dream of singing. And try to get an agent. You parents can get an agent for you.If someone thinks you got talent they will hire you. And if you get an agent he/she can book you audition. Research online to see agency around your area. Agents don't cost any money either! they take 10-20% of what you earn from the job THEY get you..



There are no open calls for disney =[( which means you can't just walk in) if you do its probably a scam.



I really wouldn't get into disney channel tho... I used to want to be on disney!! but if you really think about it where do those "stars" go..? remember raven simone? Soon enough you here the end of hanna montana, dylan and cole, and all those shows.



If your really serious about it get a lot of experience both singing AND acting. Try out for chorus at school and school talent shows. There are billions of other girls with the same dreams as you and me but if your good you have a chance!!

Unfortunately its not as easy as i want it to be...mostly because there are thousands of people around the world that want to be a singer on Disney channel too...thats why you need to have something thats different from everyone else

If your voice is absolutely outstanding, then that can be what makes you different, but if its just okay then you need to practice every day, practice your butt off!Practice until you have an absolutely outstanding voice to tell you apart from everyone else

The only problem about Disney is that you can't get in without an agent because they are not very open about their auditions, meaning only an agent can get you an audition.

My advice is try to do a little bit of everything [singing, acting and dancing] so you can show everyone that you have true talent and that you're the one they're looking for.

I reckon there's not more than a 100 kids on the Disney Channel, so it would be pretty hard. You would need an agent and everything but mostly I think you would have to be extremely lucky.
