How would you explain the success of Disney?

Since I was a little child, I've always been fascinated with it. Amazing movies, very appealing, even know I can see the actual complexity of the themes presented in (mostly the older) Disney movies. Look at the Hunchback of Notre Dame. A religious man in love, fighting against himself, society's view on "the outcasts" etc.

Is that its secret? What do you think? How would you explain the success of Disney?
Disney Movies and some other cartoon fims aren't only sensational, magical that will bring your imagination into another world of dreams and fantasies..
They were all real life related movies that makes people think that could be so nearly true..
Beside of being spectacular that Disney Movies are, they also contain somekind of good "wisdom" in it. The beneficial significant lesson we can learn about them could be applicable into this real life that we're living.
We can have the opportunity of a clear view of these essentially good aspects portrayed artistically and colorfully between the effects of bad and good.
That mostly children can easily understand..

The secret is the beautiful "wisdom" that's hidden and yet revealed artistically and brilliantly in a world of fantasy and adventure..! They become so heart touching and unforgettable in time. We may know why it only should end mostly in happy endings..
Cause goodness should prevail always..That shows us the price of being good as well..It becomes the easiest way to tell the children and other people who could love it too.
We all mostly love those effects from the lighthearted feeling it gives, colors, sparkles and mysteries relating in the nature of people, life and surroundings.

Just like what Tinkerbell does..? And the magical royalties..

I wish you're enjoying it lastingly..!!
Initially it was because they needed something short after the main feature to make the kids willing to go to movies geared to adult minds. Disney provided a class act the adults didn't die of boredom sitting through.

Later, early in the '50s, he branched out, first with a movie called, The Living Desert, I think, and it was unlike anything anyone had seen before, great photography, great content. A huge success.

Then came Cinderella and 101 Dalmations, then all the various children movies non-animated, and Fantasia, which was big among the druggies in the '60s.

I think the guy knew how to hire all the right talent and had a sense of what the public, mainly youngsters, would want to see. At least after the early years, which relied on his own popularity and his characters. How would you explain the success of Disney?
Donald Duck made Disney what it is today. Scrooge Mcduck, and Huey, Dewie, and Louie. The Ducks are the backbone of Disney. Who can look at any of those ducks and not smile and laugh and love.

Even real life ducks are awesome. My Dad once found a duck with a broken wing, and we nursed it back to health inside of a cardboard box with blankets and we fed it Cherios. Ducks actually LOVE Cherios cereal.

Regardless of whether it's a real duck or Donald Duck, I love all ducks. And I will continue to support Disney as long as they remind me of that little duck with the broken wing that loves Cherios.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is not a Disney invention. Victor Hugo actually wrote that and Disney copied it. Walt Disney was able to see the future, and used television to promote his projects as advertising by using Television, when most major film studios did not. And he developed camera usage not known by studios as a pioneer in the field of animation. i.e. the Multi-Plane CameraHow would you explain the success of Disney?
In my opintion;

- The love story/happily every after; everyone likes a feel good ending.

- Parents can trust that the themes are mild/ child appropriate

- Talanted animation artists

- Catchy songs

- On the ball marketing team / strong brand
I have three theories of Disneys continued success:

It's magic. They put spells on the public like in their movies.

They appeal to the infinite imgination. Walt Disney made a wish upon a star and his dream came true.
Walt produced stories that appealed to the hearts and imaginations of an audience from toddlers to elders.
Frankly speaking, I would like to explain in plain and beautiful words.
I think you just explained it yourself lol
