What's the best way to travel to Disney World without flying?

I'm planning a trip with a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Without having to fly, what is the best option - bus, car, train, etc? and the most cost savings. What's the best way to travel to Disney World without flying?
Driving your own car is about the cheapest way you can go (although flying is definitely easier and eats up a lot less of your vacation). It's better than other options because not only will it be less costly (filling up the gas tank as opposed to buying tickets for every member of your family), but when you are driving yourself, you get to dictate when/where you stop for breaks (and breaks will be important for the kids in particular). What's the best way to travel to Disney World without flying?
You did not say where you come from; I'm therefore basing my comments on the assumption that it is the US East Coast (New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC etc.) If the car can comfortably accomodate five people, it would be the least costly way. Train (Amtrak) plus rental car is another option; instead of rental car, you could take a taxi from the rail station. I am not familiar with bus service, but depending on the age of your children, it may be difficult for them and you because of the long confinement. What's the best way to travel to Disney World without flying?
Drive. Weather it is your own vehicle or you can rent one if it is more comfortable for your family. Do not take Amtrak. I live in Orlando and once took Amtrak just to Savannah Ga. We were broken down for 4 hours. No air because they shut down the power. We were not compensated at all, not even a free beverage! lol.. Honestly though the bus stinks and so does a train...your own car is way more comfortable and cost efficient.
from my experience i recommend swimming or running. it's healthy and great fun for the whole family
