Can you visit a Disney world hotel without having a ticket to the park?

I live by Disney World and I am curious if anyone can visit the hotels to shop or eat. Is it possible for people who aren't going to the parks, to go to all the different hotels?Can you visit a Disney world hotel without having a ticket to the park?
You absolutely can. You will just tell the attendants that you are there to look around or eat or whatever, and they will give you a visitor parking pass. You are free to roam any of the hotels. About the only thing you cannot do is use the pool - that's for guests only.
You can go to any Disney resort. they will only allow you to park for a short period of time. Long enough for a dinner.

You can take a WDW to a resort and stay longer. You can get on a WDW to a resort from Downtown Disney or the Ticket and Transportation Center - TTCCan you visit a Disney world hotel without having a ticket to the park?
ya of coarse!! when i go (i live a half hour away) i always used to hop on the monorail and explore the different hotels and sometimes eat at them. you can swim too! when i was little going to the hotels was more fun than the parks! lol! have fun!
Yes, the hotels aren't IN the park so its perfectly acceptable to go there for dinner or something, though I recommend reservations if your doing that.Can you visit a Disney world hotel without having a ticket to the park?

I know a guy who with his wife will pop into a Disney resort on any given Sunday.
