You are thinking of the original version of Cinderella which would be one of Grimm's fairy tales. I would try a collection of Grimm's stories and you will find some very interesting differences than Disney versions! However, as Pocahontas was a real person I would read a biography if you care to know what her life was really like. A short one is here or check out your library or book store for a book about her. Books about Cinderella will be in the folklore section. Books about Pocahontas will be in the history section.
