Can scripts be submitted to Disney and Nickelodeon, or do they have to be in the form of a pilot?

Can you send Disney and Nickelodeon scripts to review, or do you have to film a pilot episode first? Can scripts be submitted to Disney and Nickelodeon, or do they have to be in the form of a pilot?
Most television networks will not accept unsolicited scripts. And from experience most do not accept scripts for their own shows. Like you don't send a Hannah Montana script to the writers of Hannah Montana...because that's like telling the writers you think you can write better than them. It's always best to send a Hannah Montana script to a different show. But like I said most do not accept unsolicited scripts. It is always best to research companies and their policies. And in most cases it is best to get an agent...they will do the necessary steps for you.Can scripts be submitted to Disney and Nickelodeon, or do they have to be in the form of a pilot?
Most big companies like that won't accept unsolicited material because you could sue later if one of your ideas ended up in a movie they made. your package will probably come back with a polite note explaining that.
