Hey I live in the same state%26amp;city as you :)
Wel, hate to break it to you, but no Disney Channel productions are done here. As a matter of fact, usually student films and commercials are done here. Phoenix isn't a city that has a lot of filming going on. NY and LA are the best places to find work. I think there are only a few agents here and those deal with commercials and such.
The only major casting call that went on here was for the Twilight movies that called for native americans.
Casting agents and directors aren't going to hire someone in AZ who doesn't live where they are filming. A lot of Disney shows are done in LA. They aren't interested in anyone here.
If you want to audition for the Disney Channel, you're probably going to have to move. The only real work you can find here are for commercials, student films and theatre work.
You can always check Backstage.com for any commercial work or student films. Building your resume is best. How can I find out about Disney auditions in Arizona?
The link I'm posting includes the official auditions for Disney. They do auditions all over the world, so you just have to keep an eye on it to see if they come to Phoenix. Many times they will cast extras from various cities, so read the small print for each audition.

Also, for some of the auditions you can enter by sending in a picture and resume. Even with little to no experience, it's possible to get a callback if you have a look that is needed. If you got a callback, you may need to then travel for an actual audition.
Best of luck - and don't listen to people who tell you that you have to live in a certain place, or that you need an agent or experience. Disney casts people from different places all the time. It's if you get cast that you might have to move. Good luck! =-)How can I find out about Disney auditions in Arizona?
Disney looks for people that are very talented. You need to build up your skills by taking some classes and then get some experience auditioning and hopefully performing so that you can build up a resume. See the attached articles so you know how to find auditions and how to get an agent.
