There really isn't any cheap way... there are the timeshare things but a lot of them have prequalifications you must meet (many require a gross income of $50,000).
The best way is to pay the ticket price...then skimp out on spending money and food. You can bring a backpack with lunchables and granola bars into the park. Then don't buy the stuff there...tell your 8 year old that when tinkerbell spies special princesses in the park that she will visit that night with a special surprise. Then buy something Disney themed at Wal-Mart for like 1/10 of the price so she still has a souvenier to remember the trip.
Disney tickets are Disney tickets...but you can save on the other costs. Call and ask for any special deals at any of the hotels. Many packages include the hotel and tickets and a meal or two each day. If those are still out of your price range, you should look for a hotel further away from the parks in Kissimmee or even Davenport (from Davenport you can be at the Magic Kingdom in about 15-20 minutes). But you'll have to plan on driving time and gas...and the cost to park at the themepark each day. (the last time I checked it was about $10 a day...if you stay on property, of course you wouldn't have that cost)
Take snacks and drinks (we take a bottled water or soda and refill at the water fountains all over the parks) and sandwiches or things that can be eaten on the fly; there are plenty of places to sit at a table and eat. You don't want to load a pack down, because you'll have to carry it all day, but put sunblock in there, too; and comfortable shoes! Maybe you can budget for one meal in the park, and if your 8-yr-old isn't a big eater, you'll find a lot of the meal portions are big enough for 2. The food's expensive, but they give you a lot of it. My son and I split a kid meal :) There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants in the area for meals to take with or eat off property.Any free disney passes out there, this is my and my 8yr olds first time in disney along with a few others need
I don't know of free disney passes but there are other ways you can save.
Try Disney World Tickets, you can get great discount tickets for Walt Disney World's theme Parks. Choose from1-7 and 10 day base tickets, Park Hopper, other options include Water Parks, Magic Packs, Pleasure Island tickets and more. If you want to see it all and save try flex tickets. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.
My suggestions: either go with the flex pass if you want to see it all or base tickets. With base tickets you can see one theme park for one day, why pay more for Park Hopper when you can see other theme parks another day.
Disney World Tickets also partners with Orlando and Kissimmee Hotels to give you amazing internet special rates. To help you save money you can compare Orlando and Kissimmee Hotels, see which provides free shuttle service to Disney World, free breakfast buffets, does the hotel offer children eat free program, also look at free parking. Some may even offer a discount of Disney World Tickets.
You can receive additional discounts on tickets on Disney World and other Florida attractions with DW Savers Club.
Tips and suggestions: think about how many days you'll be there, make a plan for each day and stick to it, compare ticket prices and hotels, have a good breakfast and bring snacks and most of all Have Fun!
I hope that helps and answers your question.
Are you planning on staying on site? if you dont care try kissimee the hotels are alot cheaper. Go to orlandoinfo.com and get the magic card. this card will save you money at different hotels. Try the seralago hotel in kissimee stayed there last year and going back in june. nights start at 2 room suite for 90, but ask for the magic card rate. a couple of web sites that you can check out for disney tickets are dwtickets.com, sign up for thier newsletter. mapleleaf tickets used them last year delivered the tickets to the hotel. also try mousesavers.com. i found that booking everything seperate was alot cheaper, a family of four child, junior, 2 adults about 3500 including air and food. disney is running a special in august for free dinning you might want to check that out, but need to stay on disney. Get the book unofficial guide to Disney, worth the moneyAny free disney passes out there, this is my and my 8yr olds first time in disney along with a few others need
Disney is cheap compaired to Europe.Disney offers the alternative to a real vacation with a cheap substitute.Disney reproduces the vacation spots of the world but only the front side.Ironically the Disney brand is the authentic name in cheap imitation. If I went to your place of business and tried to get free stuff how would you collect a paycheck?
There are no free passes to Disney or discounts that amount to much. You better know all of your expensives before you leave.
For 4 days park tickets at WDW for the both of you will be $390.00. That will be one park per day. For a Park Hopper for 4 days is $480.00.
Then you will have food. Check out web site below for all disney restaurants menu and prices.
I check out 4 days at a Disney Value Resort in Aug. for 4 days with 4 days park tickets (regular not Hopper)for one adult and an 8 year old total was $696.00
I believe undercovertourist.com sells WDW tickets the cheapest, but not by that much though. The only thing I can think of is to go to a time share meeting (sales people that try to sell you time slots for condos). You'll see their advertisements on highway billboards in FL. Some offer the free passes to lure you in for their presentations. They have to give what they are promising. You don't have to buy anything, you just have to sit through it and say no thank you at the end.
This may be helpful....you can get discount tickets, but it isn't necessarily fun......you can also get deals by booking through Orbitz. Check out the article.
go see a presentation/timeshare. they could give you a free ticket, or a discount, BUT your kids wouldnt get any...
