Lady %26amp; the Tramp
Even back as a kid, I've always loved "The Lion King". Everything about it is beautiful and well-made. The animation and character designs are gorgeous, the music was created from the raw beauty of African music. It was also the only movie that influenced me when I was still small, because playtime would never be complete without me and my sister pretending to be lions from the movie. Later on, I also loved Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (though I'm not sure if it's Disney).... In short I just love anything to do with animals ^_^What is your favorite classic disney movie and why?
I really love The Lion King, even though i hate the part where Simba's father dies ;/ it's an amazing movie, the storyline is good and the feelings you get when you watch it is soo touching. Not to mention the songs, i really love them, i mean "Can you feel the love tonight" , "Circle of life" , "Hakuna matata", they are all great songs :)
Beauty and the Beast and Alladin are amazing to :) %26lt;3 And ofcourse all other 2D movies Disney have done. They should do more of them, i really miss them.. :/
I really like The Little Mermaid, because the music was really catchy, and the imagination of it was really awesome, I love how they portrayed the ocean and how colorful it was. The characters are very awesome as well, and the Animation for sure was really well done!!
Also I had a crush on Ariel when I was a kid lol. What is your favorite classic disney movie and why?
Alladin. Adventure, comedy, romance, action... it was great in all aspects, and the art was really awesome {:
and did you know? It was an exact opposite of Cinderella!
Pollyanna (1960)
True, this version is slightly different than the novel by Eleanor Porter, but the theme is faithful to the "Glad Girl" found within the novel and film. This family film is a bit cloying at times, but it never prevents me from deeply enjoying the plot, the costumes, the excellent acting, especially from the amiable Hayley Mills. Musing over the film reminds me of the quote carved into the deeply cherished locket she wears which once belonged to her late father:
"When you look for the bad in mankind expecting to find it, you surely will."
The Little Mermaid. I have loved this since I first watched it and still I am totally obsessed. Call me crazy, but when I was 6, I used the "dingglehopper" aka fork to comb my hair, just like what Ariel did. LOL. And Ariel and Eric is my favorite Disney couple. My six year old mind now still has a crush on Prince Eric. LOL. Ariel sings better than most Disney stars today like Miley, Selena, Demi Lovato. Hahaha. :DD
My two favorites are long forgotten:
-The Aristocats, because it was the only Disney movie I owned as a child (I was deprived)
-Sword in the Stone, because I watched it at daycare almost everyday for a while, I had an obsession with the squirrel scene
I'm surprised no one's said "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"! There's just something different about it. Definitely my favorite.
My second favorite classic is the Beauty and the Beast.
Bambi, because the genius of Disney shows through even such a long time ago and the compassion for wild animals and how we can identify with their behavior.
Does Lion King count? Can you dispute the awesomeness of the characters, voices, and even the songs? If you do, "oh well".
