Should I cancel my Disney World trip due to pregnancy?

My sister and I have been planning our Disney trip for over a year for our family, five adults and five kids. We have the same doctor and got new birth control pills a couple of months ago. We think the pills were bad because we see both now pregnant. We will be 7 months for our trip the week before Christmas. Can you go to Disney and have fun this pregnant? Should I cancel our Christmas Disney trip? We were so excited.Should I cancel my Disney World trip due to pregnancy?
You do not get bad pills. Was probably more that you either did not follow what the doctor said or it took your bodies longer to adjust to the new meds. It takes at least one cycle before your body can adjust and any doc will tell you use extra protection then. Not to mention that birth control pills are not 100%. Nevertheless my point is you did not get bad pills.

As far as your trip yes you can be pregnant at Disney and have fun. Clearly there is a huge difference between 2 months and 7 months but it more of a personal thing. If this is not your first you know how your body reacts and how much energy you will have and how you feel. As far as what you can and cannot do, push comes to shove all of the the thrill rides. There are still may rides and things you can do not to mention hanging out at the pool or going shopping or walking around Downtown Disney.

You can have fun but only you can know if you will feel up to it at 7 months.
congrats to both of you, although it was unexpected.

no of course you should not cancel just cuz you will be 7 months pregnant.

you can do everything besides the thrill rides. that still leave a lot of things that you can do.

go and have a great time. besides i think everyone else would be quite disappointed if the trip was canceled.Should I cancel my Disney World trip due to pregnancy?
I would not cancel the trip as long as your doctor approves. I went to Disney 7-8 weeks before my due date on Spring break and still had a great time. Of course you can`t get on thrill rides, but there`s so much to do. Make sure you have comfy shoes and take breaks when you need them. Take a copy of your medical records just in case. I was able to fly also, 7 months pregnant would not be an issue to fly. Have fun and enjoy.
We know a couple who went when she was in her final trimester. She went into labor while on the plane. Their daughter was born in an Orlando hospital.

I would check with your doctor if it will be wise for you to travel at the time.Should I cancel my Disney World trip due to pregnancy?
i would cancel, Disney isn't the best of value parks at the best of times but if you can't ride anything why pay just to wander about watching everyone else have all the fun ?
If you're flying you'd better check with your airline. Most airlines won't allow someone 7 months or 8 months pregnant to fly.

pills were bad? i doubt it.

Yes you can still go to WDW. there is a lot to do without going on thrill rides.
I think the pregnancy will be too advanced by that time for you to travel. Can麓t you go sooner?
no, just go, they will tell you which rides you shouldn't go on, have fun
I don't think many of the people posting here have been pregnant and lived in Orlando at the same time. Here is the reality of the situation. You can not ride many of the rides seven months pregnant. The park is the absolute busiest at Christmas. If you have to get to a bathroom quickly its not going to happen. You are probably going to have to wait in line to use the restroom at Disney in very long lines. Being seven months pregnant you are going to be using the restroom frequently because you will have a giant baby in you constantly kicking your bladder. Babies like to move around in you frequently. As you work toward the end of your pregnancy those moments can be painful at times. Its best to sit down and relax. That can be difficult to do in a theme park that is at its full capacity.

You need to research the individual airline before you travel regarding pregnant travelers to cover your bases.

If you do decide to travel make sure you have your insurance card. If you go into labor in Orlando you want to go to a private hospital not a public one. The private hospitals only take private insurance and are far nicer than the public ones. Also, bear in mind Orlando gets many international travelers. Translation we get off the wall disease that you are more likely to pick up pregnant.

I am going to level with you if your trip was in February or October I would say go. The parks would not be busy then. Your trip is planned during peak season its going to be far more challenging to be pregnant and fight the crowds. I would skip it. Its easy to paint a picture that your trip will be sunshine and lollipops but I lived in this city during two pregnancies. Things are more challenging than they seem.
