We are traveling to WDW May 22 - May 26, 2008 -- which happens to be Memorial Day weekend. Does anyone have any past experiences they would be willing to share regarding that particular holiday weekend at Disney World? We are assuming the crowds will be intense, but the availability at the hotels and restaurants is still really high. Hoping that the crowds will be more manageable than expected.

Extremely crowded. Get there early, because after a limited amount of people they close the main gate and let nobody else in. You can always leave and re enter though, so you won't be locked out. They just have a limit after it gets too crowded.How is Disney World on Memorial Day Weekend?
very busy during this time in fact any holiday at Disney is busy. I suggest staying at a Disney hotel there are a wide range of price ranges you can choose from. If you are in a budget I suggest Pop century. Staying at a Disney resort you get perks such as extra magic hours. Also sometimes they let you in an hour or so earlier to the parks. believe me that one hour can make a big difference. you can do 3-4 rides and wait very little
Its crazy busy at that time of year. Book as early as possible for the whole deal. Expect long, long lines for the rides.
