How do I get from Pop Century resort (or anywhere in DIsney World) to Universal Orlando?

Hi everyone - am planning a stay at Pop Century later on this year - how do I get across to Universal Orlando? If I do public transport its the Lynx Bus to Seaworld then the I-Ride along and a walk or more transfers on Lynx buses. Does anyone run a bus from Disney to Orlando? Anyone recommend a taxi firm? There will be 4 adults and two small children.How do I get from Pop Century resort (or anywhere in DIsney World) to Universal Orlando?
To be honest, this is not an easy trip and for the number of people that you are taking, I would recommend that you take a cab.



You may or may not save a few bucks using 'public' transportation, but it will be loads of stress for you, particularly with 2 little ones in tow.

A Mears Shuttle is the best way to go, the charge depends on which resort in Disney World you are staying at, for you at Pop Centry to Universal Studios would cost $16.00 round trip per person, (children under 4 are free) they leave hourly from 7:10 to 10:10 in am and later in the day from 3:10. I have done this on the lynx and its a hard trip. I got of at wet and wild and walked the last but which was not far. I have also done it by using one of the buses they run for guests from the hotels outside the disney property. most go to epcot first then on to universal. I think they are $10 each way and as you are a large group you may just as well use a taxi which you can get from downtown disney and would be around the same or less.How do I get from Pop Century resort (or anywhere in DIsney World) to Universal Orlando?
We took a taxi to Universal from the Magic Kingdom and paid $35 (one way) for four people.
You have the basic idea down as far as the bus system goes, but honestly, with 6 people I would suggest taking a taxi from Downtown Disney to Universal...Just be sure the driver uses the Palm Parkway/Turkey Lake route rather then I-4 route which should run you less on a metered taxi.
take the free shuttle bus from your hotel to disney village then get a taxi from there its cheaper than getting one from your hotel,then reverse for coming back,its alot quicker than the bus
